We thought tools would fix it. Most made the silos sharper.

When AI coding agents arrived, the problem got urgent. The same gaps that slowed human teams now multiplied. Every AI session started from zero. Drafted plausible-but-wrong specs. Lost what the last session knew. We started Atono to fix what every tool we'd used had ignored – the product context that holds a team's work together.

Most product tools chase features. We're trying to do something different – establish Product Knowledge as the layer every AI tool grounds itself in.

The ambition: every team's AI knows their product as well as the team does. Not because someone wrote good prompts. Because the knowledge lives in the workspace – structured, governed, and delivered to every tool the team uses.

We've built infrastructure that compounds before. This is the next one.
