Roast Us, Lunch Is On Us: Official Rules

Effective October 1, 2026

These Official Rules apply to the Atono "Roast Us, Lunch Is On Us" Contest (the "Contest"), sponsored by Atono, Inc. ("Atono," "we," or "us"). No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. This is a skill-based contest: winners are chosen by judging the quality of their feedback, not at random.

Eligibility

The Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their province or territory, if older) at the time of entry, and whose team is based in the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec). Employees, contractors, officers and directors of Atono, and members of their immediate households, are not eligible to enter. The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

By entering, you confirm that your employer allows you and your team to accept a free lunch from a vendor. If you are not sure, please check with your employer before entering.

Contest period

The Contest begins on October 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time and ends on October 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. It runs in five weekly judging periods:

Judging period

Dates (Pacific Time)

Week 1

October 1 to October 7, 2026

Week 2

October 8 to October 14, 2026

Week 3

October 15 to October 21, 2026

Week 4

October 22 to October 28, 2026

Week 5

Each entry is judged in the week it is received. Entries received outside the Contest period are not eligible.

How to enter

  1. Create a free Atono account at atono.io/roast-us and try the product. Creating an account is free. No paid subscription or purchase is required.

  2. Submit the roast form at form.typeform.com/to/ZXXLHJRZ during the Contest period, using the same email address you signed up with. The form asks for your name, email, company name and team location, along with your feedback on Atono.

Limit one entry per person. Multiple people from the same team may enter, but each team can win only once during the Contest. Duplicate entries may be removed.

Only entries submitted through the roast form are eligible. Feedback shared elsewhere, such as in social media or Reddit comments, is welcome but will not be judged.

Judging and winner selection

At the end of each judging period, a panel of Atono team members will review all eligible entries received that week and select one winner. Entries are judged on the following criteria:

Criteria

Weight

Usefulness: how specific and actionable the feedback is

50%

Honesty: how candid the feedback is

30%

Creativity: how memorable the roast is

20%

In the event of a tie, the entry with the higher usefulness score wins. The odds of winning depend on the number and quality of eligible entries received. Atono's decisions are final to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Winner selection

After the Giveaway period closes, Atono will randomly select one potential winner from all eligible entries received through both entry methods. The drawing is expected to take place at approximately 3:30 PM Pacific Time on October 1, 2026 at Atono Booth #3 at AI Conference SF. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Prize

Each winning team will receive lunch, either delivered to the team's office or provided as a meal delivery voucher for remote teams, with an approximate retail value of up to $200 USD (or the equivalent in Canadian dollars) per team. Up to 5 prizes will be awarded in total (one per week), with a total approximate retail value of up to $1,000 USD.

The prize may not be transferred, exchanged for cash or substituted, except at Atono's discretion where necessary. Winners are responsible for any federal, state, local or other taxes associated with accepting the prize.

Winner notification and prize fulfillment

Atono will notify winners by email, at the address used to enter, within 3 business days after each judging period ends. To claim the prize, winners must reply within 5 business days with their team size, the delivery location and confirmation that their employer allows them to accept the prize. If a winner does not reply in time or is found ineligible, the prize will be forfeited and Atono may select another winner from that week's eligible entries.

Before receiving a prize, winners who are residents of Canada must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question.

Atono will only contact entrants about the Contest to notify winners and arrange prizes. Atono will never require a winner to pay a fee or make a purchase to receive a prize.

Use of submissions

By entering, you agree that Atono may use your feedback to improve its products, website and services, without compensation to you. Atono will only quote your roast publicly if you gave permission on the entry form, and only in the way you chose (with your name or anonymously).

Your entry must be your own, must not violate anyone else's rights, and must not include confidential information belonging to your employer or anyone else.

Entry verification

Atono may verify entries and disqualify any that are incomplete, fraudulent, duplicated, automated, submitted with false information, or that otherwise break these Official Rules. This includes confirming that the entry email matches an Atono account created during the Contest period.

Privacy

Information submitted for the Contest will be used to run the Contest, verify entries, contact winners and arrange prizes, and otherwise as described in Atono's Privacy Policy. Creating an Atono account is also subject to Atono's Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Changes or cancellation

If circumstances outside Atono's reasonable control prevent the Contest from running as planned, including technical failures, fraud or security issues, Atono may modify, suspend or cancel the Contest to the extent permitted by applicable law. If the Contest ends early, Atono may select winners from eligible entries received before it ended.

Release

To the extent permitted by applicable law, entrants agree that Atono and its employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents will not be responsible for losses, damages or injuries arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of the prize, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these Official Rules limits any rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Questions about the Contest may be sent to megan.lo@atono.io.
